Central to Henley Business Angels’ core mission of investing in entrepreneurs is to support their professional and personal progression, as well as provide mentoring and coaching.
To ensure entrepreneurs perform to the best of their ability in their interview, as well as gain invaluable knowledge and advice to further expand and develop their business, we host a one-day Investment Readiness Workshop as a mandatory part of our process.
The workshop provides a huge amount of current information and advice about fundamental entrepreneurship knowledge. In particular, the workshop focuses on:
- Angel investing
- Pitching for investment
- Financial management
- Banking and debt
- Legal
- IP strategy
- Accounting

The content provided at the workshop is constantly evolving, adapting and changing to meet the needs of our entrepreneurs and to ensure the information and advice provided is up to date and relevant. After each workshop, we ask our attendees to fill out a short feedback form to constantly adapt and develop our programme to meet the needs and wants of entrepreneurs, and ensure we cover any and all information that is vital knowledge for entrepreneurs.

Previously, our Investment Readiness Workshop has only been accessibly by entrepreneurs taking part in our application process, however, we now have the capacity to open attendance to any entrepreneurs hoping to gain from the invaluable expertise provided by the workshop.
Attendance to the workshop remains free of charge for entrepreneurs taking part in our application process, however, entrepreneurs not applying to the network are now welcome, and are invited, to purchase a ticket for our Investment Readiness Workshop.
Tickets can be purchased through the link below, and one ticket entitles two members of the company team to attend the day-long workshop.
Previously our workshop was held in person, but due to restrictions, this workshop moved online. We will be looking to return to in-person, or even hybrid events in the future, however, this workshop remains a virtual event, allowing attendance from anywhere in the UK and Europe.
